These are the cookies I make for her My mejor amiga Irma esta esperando su segundo bebe muy pronto por lo que su familia le hizo un baby shower para celebrarlo. Estas son las galletas que le hice.
They didn’t have any specific theme for the baby shower just the color blue because is a boy. No tenian ningun tema en especial para el baby shower solamente el color azul por que va a ser un bebe.

March 18th, 2012Look what I just make with my friend Islander from HI Cookery – super cute and delicious mini strawberry french macarons -. The truth is that she teach me how to make them and I just help a little bit.
I met this talented blogger/layout editor last year in our cake club annual “Day of Sharing” event. We sit next to each other and both were all excited because we’re new not only to the world of sweets but also to the Frosting Creators of San Antonio club. We start talking, find out we both share our love of food and sweets thru a blog, and since then we become good friends. Did I mention that all her food is delicious !!! Mardi Gras Mask Cookies – Galletas Mascara de Carnaval
February 22nd, 2012Sorry Fat Tuesday is already gone but let me show you how I make this Mardi Gras Mask cookies. Lo siento porque el Carnaval ya termino pero dejenme enseñarles como hice estas galletas de Mascaras de Carnaval.
I don’t have a mask cookie cutter but I learn from cookie experts (thank you ladies for share your cookie wisdom) that you have to think outside the cookie cutter. I been doing it for a while and every time I’m amaze with all the possibilities you have once you look with different eyes at your cookie cutters, even more amazing if you don’t have a lot of them. So I looked in my cookie cutters and I found these: No tengo un cortador de galletas con forma de mascara pero aprendi de las expertas en galletas (gracias damas por compartir su sabiduria galletuna) que tienes que pensar fuera de la caja . . .cortador (uppss no se cual es la expresion correcta en español) en pocas palabras usar tu imaginacion. Lo he hecho desde hace rato y cada vez me sorprendo mas de todas las posibilidades que tienes cuando vez tus cortadores con otros ojos, y mas sorprendente aun si no tienes una coleccion muy grande de ellos. Asi que busque y esto es lo que encontre:
- Big Santa Face (Cara de Santa grande)
- Ivy Leave (Hoja de Hiedra)
- Mini Paisley (uupppss que forma es esta, la conozco como estampado bulgaro, gota tal vez)

February 17th, 2012My little and only brother just become a father (we are 4 sisters). I can’t believe it, I still remember the night that He was born. Anyway to welcome my lovely little niece I make this set of cookies. The inspiration came from the little paper bags that you can see in the picture. Mi pequeño y unico hermano acaba de debutar como papa (somos 4 hermanas). No lo puedo creer, todavia me acuerdo claramente de la noche en que el nacio. Bueno pero para darle la bienvenida a mi sobrenita hice estas galletas.
Happy Chinese New Year 2012 ! – Feliz Año Nuevo Chino 2012
January 23rd, 2012Happy Chinese New Year 2012 !!! Last year I make an amazing collection of cookies for the celebration of the Chinese New Year that you can find here part1, here part 2 and here part 3. The picture is at the end of this post. Was amazing not only because it was beautiful but because I make a lot of their traditional symbols and also share with you their meaning. All this bla, bla, bla is just to tell you that I couldn’t came up with any new ideas so I limit myself just to the Chinese Zodiac Calendar’s symbol for 2012 “The Dragon”. Feliz Año Nuevo Chino 2012 !! El año pasado hice una espectacular coleccion de galletas (modestia aparte) para la celebracion del Año Nuevo que pueden encontrar aqui la 1ra parte, aqui la 2da parte y aqui la 3ra parte. Puse la foto de esas galletas al final de este articulo. Era espectacular no solo porque quedaron hermosas sino porque hice muchos de los simbolos tradicionales que usan durante esta celebracion y aparte les comparti sus significados. Pero bueno todo este bla, bla, bla es solamente para confesar que no se me ocurrieron nuevas ideas, asi que me limite solamente al simbolo para el 2012 del Calendario Zodical Chino “El Dragon”

Tengo muchas cosas por las cuales estar agradecida pero la numero uno es mi familia. Creo firmemente que la familia es la energia mas poderosa para tu alma y la mejor medicina cuando las cosas no estan tan bien como desearias.

Merry Christmas – Feliz Navidad
December 26th, 2011Merry Christmas and blessings to all of you that follow my blog. 2011 has been a wonderful year but for me it just went too fast. My last post was for Thanksgiving and after that I got really busy and suddenly we are on our way to a New Year. In between the holidays, I manage to make this Christmas cookies. Feliz Navidad a todos ustedes que siguen mi blog. 2011 ha sido un año maravilloso pero para mi simplemente se fue demasiado rapido. Mi ultimo articulo fue para Thanksgiving despues de eso estuve bastante ocupada y de repente ya estamos en camino a un Año Nuevo. En el transcurso me las arregle para hacer estas galletas Navideñas.
